Delhi to Mathura and Vrindavan, there and back on one charge
Mathura is about 159 km from Delhi on the Yamuna Expressway, and Vrindavan another ten minutes beyond it. Two and a half hours each way on a road with no signals, which makes this the easiest day trip out of Delhi.
It is also the simplest trip we run in an electric car: 318 km for the round journey, comfortably inside a single charge. We leave at 100% and come back without stopping to charge at all.

Charging on the Delhi to Mathura and Vrindavan route
No charging stop is needed. The round trip is about 318 km against a measured highway range of 380–420 km with the air conditioning on and a full load, so we do the whole day on one charge. One thing worth knowing if you are planning your own trip: there is no dependable public fast charger inside Vrindavan itself. The nearest reliable options are in Mathura, just off NH-19. We plan around that rather than discovering it on the day.

What to know about this drive
- The Mathura exit toll on the Yamuna Expressway is about ₹275 for a car, billed separately from the fare.
- Vrindavan's temple lanes are narrow and vehicle access around Banke Bihari changes on festival days and busy weekends. Your chauffeur will drop you as close as the barriers allow and wait at the nearest parking.
- Winter fog reduces the expressway speed limit to 75 km/h between 15 December and 15 February. A later start is better than an early one in those months.

- Jewar: Exit for the new Noida International Airport, about 60 km out.
- Mathura: Krishna Janmabhoomi and the Dwarkadhish temple, plus the ghats on the Yamuna.

- Govardhan: The parikrama hill, roughly 22 km west of Vrindavan and an easy addition.
