Delhi to Jaipur cab, with the best charging stop in north India
Jaipur is about 273 km from Delhi on NH48, through Gurugram, Manesar, Neemrana and Behror. Five to six hours normally, and closer to seven on a holiday weekend — almost all of the variance is at the Delhi end.

Charging on the Delhi to Jaipur route
We leave Delhi at 100% and stop for about an hour at Behror, almost exactly half way. Behror is the best-provisioned highway charging point on any route we run out of Delhi — two different operators on the same complex, multiple CCS2 guns, open 24 hours, with restrooms and food. If one is busy the other is a walk away, which is why this route is the least likely of the ten to be disrupted by a charger being down.

What to know about this drive
- The slow part is leaving Delhi, not the highway. The Shankar Chowk to Mahipalpur stretch of the Delhi–Gurugram Expressway can take the best part of an hour in peak traffic. We recommend departing between 05:00 and 06:00.
- Toll is roughly ₹400 for a car across the plazas, with Kherki Daula at ₹100 the busiest of them. Tolls are billed separately and all plazas are cashless.
- The route via Alwar is a similar distance but takes six to seven hours. We use it only as a diversion when NH48 is blocked, not by preference.
Places to stop between Delhi and Jaipur
- Manesar: The industrial belt just past Gurugram, and the last of the Delhi traffic.
- Neemrana: The 15th-century fort palace, about 120 km out and a popular lunch stop.
- Behror: The half-way point, where we charge — full services and restrooms.
- Amber: The fort above Jaipur, reached before you get into the city proper.

How long does the Delhi to Jaipur drive really take?
Five to six hours on a normal day, seven or more on a holiday weekend. The variance is almost entirely the Delhi–Gurugram stretch at the start, which is why we push for an early departure.
Is a one-way drop to Jaipur available?
Yes. A one-way drop is priced for the outbound leg only. A round trip keeps the car and chauffeur with you, which is usually better value if you are staying two or three days.
Can we stop at Neemrana on the way?
Yes, and it is the most common stop on this route. Neemrana Fort Palace is a short way off the highway at about 120 km, and it sits close to where we charge anyway.
Can I book a cab for Jaipur sightseeing after arriving?
Yes — a round trip keeps the car and chauffeur with you for Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Nahargarh, without arranging local transport.
Will an electric car make it to Jaipur without running out of charge?
Yes. We depart at 100% charge and plan one charging stop on the way. The BYD e6 returns 380-420 km on a highway with the air conditioning running and a full load, and we never plan a route that depends on arriving with an empty battery.
What happens if the charging station is not working?
Every planned stop has at least one named alternative within reach, and our operations team checks charger status on the morning of departure. Charger downtime is a real problem on Indian highways, which is why we plan for it rather than hope.
Does the charging stop make the trip longer?
We budget a full hour for a charging stop, and we schedule it where you would want a break anyway - somewhere with a clean restroom and food. Often it takes less, but we plan the day on an hour so a busy charger does not put you behind schedule.
