Charging on the Bangalore to Pondicherry route

Pondicherry has only a couple of DC chargers and they sit in the same complex, one of which shuts in the evening — so we plan the energy for the return leg on the way in rather than assuming we can top up at the destination.

What to know about this drive
- NH44 as far as Krishnagiri is excellent. The NH77 cross-country stretch through Tiruvannamalai is slower and passes through more towns.
- Tiruvannamalai is worth a stop in its own right — the Annamalaiyar temple is one of the largest in Tamil Nadu and it is directly on the route.
- White Town in Pondicherry has narrow one-way streets and restricted parking. Share your hotel pin when you book so the chauffeur can plan the approach.
