- NH275 is four-lane and in good condition as far as Kushalnagar. The final climb to Madikeri is a ghat road — narrower, slower and worth doing in daylight.

- Most Coorg homestays and estates sit 15–40 km off the Madikeri road on single-lane estate tracks. Share the exact pin when you book so the chauffeur can plan the last leg.
